Description

Bitumen Remover and Tar Solvent BITU-EX for the removal of stubborn contaminations such as asphalt residues, bitumen, grease, oil, soot deposits, and tar. Optimal dirt penetration through a new active formula, excellent emulsion adhesion on vertical surfaces.

The Bitumen Remover:

  • Forms an emulsion with excellent adhesion to vertical surfaces when mixed with water
  • Penetrates even thick layers of dirt with its special formulation
  • Effortlessly dissolves asphalt residues, bitumen, grease, oil, soot deposits, and tar

The Tar Solvent:

  • Is particularly economical as it can be diluted with water

Areas of Application and Recommended Dilution for Tar and Bitumen Remover:

For heavy contaminations:

1:3 to 1:5 To create the adhesive emulsion, mix BITU-EX with water and apply using a pressure sprayer. When applying the tar solvent and bitumen remover manually with a brush, shake the mixture vigorously for a few seconds beforehand. After 5 – 10 minutes of exposure time, rinse or wash off with a pressure washer.

For light contaminations, dilution up to 1:8 is possible.

1:10 to 1:20 Dilute the bitumen remover with water and apply to the surfaces to be protected, such as formwork, vehicles, etc. The protective layer is water-soluble, allowing asphalt residues to be removed with a strong water jet or pressure washer.

The concentrate is mixed with water at a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5 to create a milky emulsion that adheres even to vertical surfaces. The emulsion is then applied with a pressure sprayer and requires only 5-10 minutes of exposure time before it can be rinsed or washed off with a pressure washer.

Our Bitumen Remover and Tar Solvent are particularly effective against stubborn contaminations, offering a quick solution for those working with asphalt or bitumen. With the excellent performance of the tar solvent, you can be sure to clean your work areas quickly and easily.

The bitumen cleaning agent concentrate can also be diluted with water at a ratio of 1:10 to 1:20 to create an emulsion as a release agent for formwork, vehicles, and other surfaces. Our Bitumen Remover and Tar Solvent are also environmentally friendly and safe to use. From a dilution of 1:5, the bitumen cleaning agent is not classified as environmentally hazardous according to the classification criteria of Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC.
